Dean of the College of Engineering

This position serves as the chief academic officer for the College of Engineering and reports to the Βι¶ΉΣ³»­ executive vice president and provost. The next dean will lead a college with research programs that have grown significantly in the past decade, particularly in high-impact interdisciplinary areas such as advanced manufacturing, cybersecurity and autonomous systems, while serving at a university characterized by a strong commitment to the student experience.  For details, see the . 

Assistant Dean for Assessment, Compliance and Evaluation

The Assistant Dean for Assessment, Compliance and Evaluation is responsible for overseeing and leading the College of Engineering’s efforts in assessment, compliance and evaluation. This position ensures that the college meets accreditation standards, maintains continuous improvement of academic programs, ensures compliance with policies and supports diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives. The assistant dean works collaboratively with faculty, staff and Βι¶ΉΣ³»­ leadership to enhance educational outcomes, comply with regulatory requirements and promote a data-driven approach to decision-making. Associate Dean, Research and Graduate Affairs

The Associate Dean, Research and Graduate Affairs assists the Dean in matters relating to research and graduate program administration of the College of Engineering. The Associate Dean will serve to advance the research mission of the College, identifying strategic research opportunities and developing internal processes that enhance efficiency surrounding research needs. The position will serve to support the University’s R1 status and enhance other strategic initiatives. The position will oversee and manage the Engineering Research Office. The Associate Dean will support graduate student programs and graduate affairs. The Associate Dean will serve as a liaison with the graduate school and Vice President for Research and Innovation to resolve issues and identify areas for enhancement and new program development. Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs

The Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs in the College of Engineering has many duties and responsibilities. In short, virtually anything related to faculty (tenured/tenure-track and non-tenure track) is within the scope of this position. The ultimate goal for the Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs is to support, advocate for and advance faculty success at all levels of the institution. For details, see the .
