Tuition with graduate assistantship
A limited number of graduate assistantships, requiring either teaching or research assistance or both, are available for qualified students. Students who apply by the early deadline of February 1 receive top consideration.
Graduate assistants in the Reynolds School often lead lab sessions in our undergraduate media production courses, JOUR 107, JOUR 108 or JOUR 208, or work with our in-house projects like the Hitchcock Project for Visualizing Science, the Reynolds Media Lab or the Center for Advanced Media Studies.
Students on assistantships receive reduced rates for tuition and out-of-state fees are waived. Other mandatory fees and international student fees are not waived, however, nor do assistantships cover differential costs for specialized classes. If you are interested in applying for a graduate assistantship, please indicate in your cover letter to the graduate director, Patrick File, and on your graduate application.
