The College of Education & Human Development at the ΒιΆΉΣ³» has climbed 21 spots in the rankings from the prior year. It is now ranked No. 88th among the 2024 Best Online Masters in Education Programs by .
U.S. News evaluated schools in the Best Online category based on a variety of factors, such as student engagement, faculty credentials and services and technologies.

In its 12th year, the U.S. News Best Online Programs is designed for individuals looking to complete or further their education. This year's edition evaluates more than 1,600 online bachelor's and master's degree programs using metrics specific to online learning. The rankings only include degree-granting programs offered primarily online by regionally accredited institutions.

The College of Education & Human Development offers online master of education programs in Educational Leadership, Reading & Curriculum Instruction, Equity & Diversity in Education and Instructional Technology & Learning Design. In addition, select specialties of the Master of Special Education program are offered online, such as behavior analytic interventions, generalist and intellectual disability.
The College of Education & Human Development’s online programs are continuing to grow, and it now offers an Online Master of Secondary Education with an emphasis on Continuing Educator Improvement. This innovative program for middle and secondary educators supports them in improving their classroom practice and prepares them to teach dual-credit college courses.
"The college has a top-notch quality online education program as recognized by metrics that look at the level of instruction, engagement with students and attention to access," Easton-Brooks said. Given our ranking, this implies that others in the field have great things to say about the online program in our college."
