The College of Science weekly video series, Mineral Monday, explores the many minerals, fossils and historical objects on display at the W.M. Keck Earth Science and Mineral Engineering Museum, as told by curator Garrett Barmore. For this week's episode, learn about the fibrous orange mineral wakabayashilite (try and say that five times fast!). Wakabayashilite was originally classified in Japan, and while similar in color to last week's mineral wulfenite, wakabayashilite is one of the rarest minerals in the Keck Museum's collection.
