Summer housing
Summer session housing applications open on April 1, 2025
The 2025 Summer Housing term is May 18 - August 10, 2025
We will start accepting summer session housing applications from eligible students on and after Tuesday, April 1. To be eligible to live on campus over the summer, students must be enrolled in at least one summer session course and/or be working on campus. Priority is provided to students who have completed the Fall 2025 housing application.
All students living in summer housing will be required to have a meal plan.
Great Basin Hall is designated for student summer housing.
In order to apply for summer housing, the application is on your housing portal; please click on the "drop-down" menu and look for the "Winter/Summer Housing" application.
The summer daily housing rate, from Sunday, May 18-Sunday, August 10, is $24.68 for a double-occupancy room and $44.54 for a single-occupancy room. Regardless of when you check in or out of your summer housing assignment, rates are calculated based on the number of days in each session. Rates for single occupancy rooms will be different.
The terms and conditions of occupancy are outlined in the license agreement. Please note, for the Mini Session, First Session, Full Summer Session housing, students must cancel the license agreement by filling out the petition to break their license agreement 14 days prior to the start of their housing term. After this deadline, no refunds for summer housing will be granted.
Check-ins/check-outs
• Check-ins will be on the Sunday prior to the start of the summer term.
• Check-outs will be at 11 a.m. on the last day of each session (Friday for the mini and first sessions, and Sunday, August 10 for second session).
Housing accommodations are only available after August 10 for students electing to live on campus for the academic year.

Uninterrupted housing
Current residents and Summer residents who do not sign up for uninterrupted housing must check out of their assigned space at the end of the semester (or summer session) and find their own housing options until move-in day for the following summer session or the Fall Semester.
For current on-campus residents living in the halls for the Spring 2025 semester seeking to move directly into summer housing, uninterrupted housing accommodations are available prior to the start of Mini Session at the daily rate of $24.68 for a double occupancy room or $44.54 for a single occupancy room.
Summer residents who have completed an academic year License Agreement may also request uninterrupted housing between the end of Second Session and the beginning of the Fall semester. Uninterrupted housing has a daily rate of $24.68 for double occupancy or $44.54 for single occupancy. To calculate the cost, add this amount to the applicable Summer Session room rate. If you would like to request uninterrupted housing for either of these time periods you must note this in the appropriate fields on the housing application. Prior to the Fall semester, students will be notified to move to their new rooms.
