The School of Music offers a variety of talent-based scholarships to incoming and continuing music students. Each award is based on individual talent, available funding, and the competitiveness of the audition pool.

Application deadlines for 2025-2026 academic year
1. Submit the University's Scholarship Application by February 1, 2025, located in MyΒι¶ΉΣ³» under Supplemental Forms.* (Required if submitting School of Music Scholarship.)
2. Submit the School of Music Scholarship application:
- Incoming students: Sunday, February 15, 2025*
- Returning students: Sunday, December 1, 2024
3. Audition for the School of Music (Required for admission)*:
- Undergraduate auditions: Live auditions January 18, 2025; Video auditions due February 1, 2025
- Graduate auditions: Live auditions January 18, 2025; Video auditions due February 1, 2025
*Incoming students may still audition for program acceptance after the scholarship deadline. Please contact mvmiller@unr.edu for further assistance.
