Summary
Mary Miller teaches applied flute at the School of Music at the Βι¶ΉΣ³». She is also the Principal Flutist with the Reno Philharmonic, and was formerly Principal Flutist with the Reno Chamber Orchestra for over 30 years as well as the Principal Flutist with the Βι¶ΉΣ³» Opera Orchestra for 25 years. Miller has been a featured soloist with the Reno Philharmonic, the Reno Chamber Orchestra, the Ruby Mountain Symphony, the Carson City Symphony, the University Symphony Orchestra and the National Flute Association.
In addition to teaching flute, Ms. Miller handles auditions for program admissions and scholarship consideration for the School of Music.
Her primary teachers were Catherine P. Smith and Alan Cox, with additional studies from Tim Day, Mary Karen Clardy, Lloyd Gowan, Bettine Clemen and Susanna Watling.
