Summary

Prior to joining the Βι¶ΉΣ³»­, Scott worked as a Senior Deputy Attorney General in the Βι¶ΉΣ³»­ Attorney General’s Office. There, his practice focused exclusively on employment law and general counsel advice on employment law issues for numerous state entities. Before transitioning to public service, Scott spent over 21 years working in the legal industry as a practicing attorney, law clerk, information technology analyst and paralegal. 

Scott has extensive experience in a wide variety of practice areas including management side employment matters, public entities, business and transactional, intellectual property, litigation and trial practice, and corporate and board governance. 

Scott graduated with a B.A. in Political Science from Penn State University and received his J.D. cum laude from the Gonzaga University School of Law. As a result of his experience, Scott has presented on numerous employment topics pertaining to public entities. 

While not a Βι¶ΉΣ³»­ native himself, Scott is married to a fourth generation Βι¶ΉΣ³»­ native and alumna of the University. Scott is active in the local community and is proud to call Reno, Βι¶ΉΣ³»­ and the University his new home.
