Pack Internship Grant Program
The Pack Internship Grant Program provides funding for individual student internships with local start-up businesses, non-profits and public/government agencies. The program enables local organizations to host paid internships for undergraduate students, offering real-world learning opportunities. All Pack Internship positions are offered at $16/hour for 120 hours of work.
The internships take place each Spring semester (mid-January - April 30). Hours are distributed differently at each internship—employers and interns work together to determine an appropriate schedule. The program requires that interns work a minimum of 8 hours per week, but no more than 15 hours per week.
Participating students will get first-hand experience in a field of interest, giving them the opportunity to apply their skills in a professional environment. Additionally, this is a great way for students to build or expand their professional network.
Yes! If your academic program or college provides an internship course, you are welcome to enroll in it for academic credit. Talk to your academic advisor on how to enroll for the correct course. Students may also enroll in ACE 400 as an elective credit if their college does not provide a specific internship course. Please check with your academic advisor to learn more.
Any Βι¶ΉΣ³» undergraduate student enrolled full-time with a minimum 2.75 University cumulative GPA is eligible to apply. Seniors who are planning to graduate in May are exempt from a full-time course load.

The Βι¶ΉΣ³» Career Studio recommends DACA students and international students reach out to The Multicultural Center and the Office of International Students and Scholars for more information about employment.

A Pack Intern cannot be hired by the same employer twice. Students are welcome to apply and work for a different employer each year they apply to the program.
If you are a current volunteer (unpaid employee) for a Pack Internship employer, you are eligible for their Pack Internship position. If you are a current, paid employee with the Pack Internship employer, you are ineligible for the Pack Internship position.
The Βι¶ΉΣ³» Career Studio will do an initial screening of all applicants to ensure they meet our academic requirements after the student application process closes. Then, the employers will review the candidates and contact students for an interview opportunity. The interview and selection process by employers will occur in November and conclude prior to Finals in December. Students will be notified via email when the search process concludes.
All students who accept a Pack Internship position are required to complete a mandatory student orientation in December to discuss the program's expectations. Once a student completes the orientation, they may begin their positions the first week of the upcoming Spring semester.
