The new, official research social media channels for the Βι¶ΉΣ³» are live! These channels are a consolidated place to share Βι¶ΉΣ³»’s impactful research and innovation information and news.
The purpose of these channels is to promote research and discovery, entrepreneurship, scholarship, outreach and the University’s engagement with the community, industry, agencies and global partners.
The stories and information shared on the University’s research social media channels tells the story of the regional to worldwide impact of faculty research, as well as giving a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the research enterprise in motion.

Social media post suggestion form
If you would like to suggest a social media post, please submit your content and photo(s) for review.
Photo releases are required for all recognizable persons who are not students or employees of the Βι¶ΉΣ³». If you are hosting an event, in lieu of getting photo releases signed, you can post photo consent signage at the entrance to the event or in a location where all attendees will see it. An exception to this is if you are attending an event that you did not organize that is a public event.
Summary:
- If you are taking photos of individuals or small groups that are not University students or employees, obtain signed releases before photographing.
- If you are hosting an event, print our photo consent signage before the event and make sure to post it where it is visible to all attendees.
- If you are attending a public event and taking photos, no need for releases but please respect if people ask not to be used in photos.
