We teach public health practitioners how to look beyond just physical health and consider environmental, economic and sociological factors that impact individual and community health, happiness and well-being.

With a comprehensive curriculum in areas such as public health policy, finance and budget, health informatics, epidemiology and biostatistics, social and behavioral health, the online Master of Public Health in Public Health Practice is designed to prepare you for employment in nearly any area of the public health field.

The tuition for the online Master of Public Health in Public Health Practice is $32,850*.

Online MPH admissions requirements

To enroll in the online public health master's program, applicants must have completed a four-year bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and meet minimum GPA requirements.

  • 3.0+ GPA. Applicants must have a 3.0 cumulative GPA or 3.0 GPA in the last 60 credit hours.
  • 2.75 - 2.99 GPA. Applicants with a cumulative GPA between 2.75 and 2.99 may be considered by submitting standardized test scores (e.g., GRE, GMAT, MCAT).
  • Prerequisite courses. Students must have a course in statistics. There is a curriculum option for applicants lacking this prerequisite.
  • Application (SOPHAS completed before Graduate School application.)

*International applicants for whom English is not their first language must submit TOEFL scores.

  • Two letters of recommendation
  • Statement of purpose
  • Transcripts from all universities and/or colleges attended
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV)/resume

Application deadlines

Application deadlines are July 27 (fall start), December 15 (spring start) and April 6 (summer start).

Program curriculum

We’ve structured the curriculum around the most important public health topics and a curated concentration that prepares you for real-world success after graduation. A 45 credit hour program, the master's degree requires students to complete ten (17) classes.
