Field trip shows
With over 20 field trip shows to choose from, teachers can customize their students' Planetarium experience to fit their educational needs. There are three main age-based categories that our shows fall into: Pre-K and K-2, Grades K-5, and Grades 3-5 and above. Pre-K and K-2

Travel with a boy and girl robot to a science center, and then on an exciting adventure through space! With a captivating story and great visuals, this excellent new Earth/Moon/Sun show was purposefully created to address Next Generation Science Standards.

Take a lunar adventure with a curious stowaway cat. This program is a playful cartoon presentation about an inquisitive cat who takes a trip to the moon, observing his human family of enthusiastic sky watchers.

This is a light-hearted look at the ancient Greek mythology behind the winter constellations filled with funny and engaging characters who will entertain and educate.
Grades K-5

Geared toward students, this new show from the Houston Museum of Natural Science travels through the Solar System’s major sites, revealing each planet and location by exploring adventures that could be experienced there. From looking at the Earth with an actual NASA astronaut to exploring the surface of the dwarf planet Pluto, this show both educates and entertains.

We see the engineering and innovation steps taken by the internationally distributed teams competing to land a spacecraft on the moon and vie for additional prizes. Based on the popular book and website “Bad Astronomy” by author Phil Plait, this wacky-but-wise show entertains audiences of all ages with an inside look at out-of-this-world myths and misconceptions, including astrology, the moon hoax, UFOs and others.
