The Office of Information Technology (OIT) department provides computing, software, and communications support services to students, faculty, and staff throughout the University.

The department manages and supports software development, applications support and data warehousing, network services, and server support and management. The goal of the organization is to assist departments and colleges in automating any administrative or academic process within the University that can benefit from automation and thereby improve the efficiency and accuracy of University operations.

The faculty, staff and student employees of OIT are responsible for core OIT systems and services, including e-mail, network security, NetID authentication, and OIT communications, as well as computer hardware and software troubleshooting.

Research Resources Cyberinfrastructure within the Office of Information Technology is dedicated to providing researched based infrastructure to support our campus' R1 researchers.
