Adriana Gomez has joined Sponsored Projects as the new associate director of post award, starting on Monday, Oct. 14, 2024. Gomez comes to the Â鶹ӳ» from the University of Southern California, where she spent more than 12 years managing financial services and sponsored awards for various government agencies and other organizations. Her extensive experience spans financial management, audit oversight and compliance, making her a valuable addition to the team.
In her new role, Gomez will help lead the grant accounting team in reviewing financial transactions, managing sponsor invoicing and cash collections, preparing financial reports, ensuring audit and compliance standards are met, and overseeing award closeout processes.
