Dear Wolf Pack Family,

With April being Arab American Heritage Month, we have the opportunity to celebrate and learn more about the many achievements and contributions of Arab Americans. This is a remarkably diverse community representing a wide range of backgrounds, traditions and cultures. It is estimated that there are more than 3.5 million Arab Americans in our country today. Throughout history, the Arab American community has made incredible contributions to our state and nation’s culture and identity.

We are especially proud of the achievements and accomplishments of our students, faculty and staff who are Arab American – in countless ways, they have furthered our institutional mission and enriched our campus community.

The , a non-profit 501(c)(3) educational and cultural organization, was established to promote Arab heritage, educate Americans about the Arab identity and empower and connect Arab Americans with each other and with diverse organizations across the U.S. The foundation has related to the celebration of Arab American Heritage Month.

We can all benefit from learning more about the Arab American community. Throughout this month and throughout the year, let us continue to commemorate the unique perspectives, experiences and achievements of the members of our Arab American community.

Go Pack!

Sincere regards,

Brian Sandoval
