The library subscribes to , a digital library of more than one million images in the areas of art, architecture, the humanities, and social sciences. It’s easy to cite, download, and print images and the rights/licensing information about each image is clearly stated. This essential resource allows you to build personal collections using your own images, those shared by other institutions, or Artstor materials. If you want to create a slideshow, all you have to do is create an image group made up of the images you want and click a button. Boom! Artstor creates an instant PowerPoint file.
Getty Open Access Images
The J. Paul Getty Trust is the world's largest cultural and philanthropic institution dedicated to the presentation, conservation, and interpretation of the world's artistic legacy. Although the Getty charges fees to use many of their copyrighted online images, they make all of their digital images to which they hold the rights or that are in the public domain .
