Van Scoyoc Associates has provided additional resources to members of the campus community. Users will be asked to authenticate via single sign on.

Funding modules

Van Scoyoc Associates has compiled additional information and resources for members of the campus community to become more familiar with the appropriation process. The VSA Federal Funding Module includes information on the budget cycle, language and programmatic requests, defense mark-ups, community funded requests and how to complete the project funding request checklist. Users will be asked to submit a form with your name and contact information and will be emailed a link and passcode to access.

Proposed timeline

The FY2026 appropriations cycle will begin in Fall 2024.

August 9 Online form goes live on Government & Community Engagement websit
September 16 Deadline for project request ideas from the faculty. Projects should be submitted through online form.
October 7 Communication of projects advancing will be sent out.
October 16 Projects that will be advancing, updated proposal and package due.
October 30-31 Project requestors meet in-person to review proposals with federal lobbying firm, Van Scoyoc Associates (VSA)
January 22 Final applications due
February 1 The Office of Government and Community Engagement will submit FY26 appropriations requests to the Βι¶ΉΣ³»­ Congressional Delegation.
