Summary
Maia hails from Newark, New Jersey, growing up with a fondness for urban living and West Coast winters. She received a B.A. in Mathematics from Cornell University in 2021. In 2023, she moved to Reno to work with Professor Daniel Trugman and the Βι¶ΉΣ³» Seismological Laboratory. Her current research centers on tacking large datasets to better understand earthquake rupture processes. In her spare time, she loves to skateboard, walk her dog, and organize.
