The Department of Gender, Race, and Identity has been awarded an American Council of Learned Societies (ACLS) for their project Community-based Knowledges and Visions for Racial, Health, and Climate Justice. The co-PI’s are Prisca Gayles (GRI and Sociology) and Lydia Huerta (GRI and Communication Studies. UNR is one of 24 grantees of this award this year.
