Summary
Brock's career in environmental health and safety began with his employment as a hazardous materials technician student worker at the Βι¶ΉΣ³» in 2004. His educational background in laboratory research and professional interest in more traditional aspects of occupational safety make him particularly well-suited to the challenges of the emerging risks that come along with university research.
Brock's primary role in the department is to identify training needs throughout the campus community and to assist in the development and delivery of in-person workshops and online training presentations to meet them. He has a particular interest in the safety of employees and users of the university's maker spaces and other shared-use resources.
