Apex Concerts is proud to partner with the nation’s premier chamber music organization, the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, to bring to Reno a fantastic program centered around music for wind instruments in multiple combinations, we will welcome back the pianist Anne-Marie McDermott, clarinetist David Shifrin, oboist James Austin Smith, and bassoonist Marc Goldberg. In addition, we will introduce to Reno the former principal horn of the Berlin Philharmonic and the phenomenal flutist Adam Walker, Poulenc’s enchanting Sextet for Piano and Winds, a pinnacle of wind repertoire, will conclude this exciting program.
