Summary
Mariah Sierras is a forester that has worked a variety of field jobs in relation to outdoor research. Her environmental career started off with seasonal jobs for the Adaptive Management Experiment, and later worked at Whittell Forest. In recent years still as an undergraduate, she had worked in the Shriver Quantitative Plant Ecology lab at the Βι¶ΉΣ³» exploring her interests in demographic relationships in ecosystems. As the assistant forester for the Whittell Forest & Wildlife Area, she strives to help provide and promote a local environment for other faculty, students, and community members access to environmental research opportunities.
Research interests
Mariah is interested in how a changing climate can further affect demographic variables in an ecosystem.
