Summary
Stephanie Gibson is a curator and arts administrator from Ottawa, Canada. She has worked in varying capacities of exhibition management at institutions including the Art Gallery of Ontario, the National Gallery of Canada, and the Aga Khan Museum in Toronto. She was most recently the Assistant Director at Βι¶ΉΣ³» Humanities, the state’s affiliate to the National Endowment for the Humanities. Gibson curated the inaugural exhibition at the John and Geraldine Lilley Museum of Art, and is passionate about connecting people with art, and turning big, thoughtful ideas into engaging exhibitions and public programming. In her work, Gibson maintains a strong commitment to the equitable treatment of all people in every aspect of a project, as well as in the understanding of who participates in – and has access to – the arts and humanities.
