Summary

Ms. Sierra Saunders’ work focuses on high quality program evaluation of various organizations at the local, state, regional and national level. These professional evaluations are related to education and youth development, public health and wellness, conservation and community and family services. Ms. Saunders has partnered with various diverse communities, programs and stakeholders to develop and implement programs that address challenges and inequities in underserved populations. Her evaluation projects have included Systems of Care (funded by SAMHSA), Βι¶ΉΣ³»­ Division of Public and Behavioral Health (NDPBH) Two-way Text Messaging System and Fruit and Vegetable Prescription (funded by the CDC 1817 Competitive Award), tribal home visiting (funded by the Administration for Children and Families), NSF Regional Innovation Engines (funded by NSF), Conservation Corps Minnesota & Iowa, Green Iowa AmeriCorps, Βι¶ΉΣ³»­ Conservation Corps, Washoe County School District Title I, statewide and local 21st Century Community Learning Centers and National Alliance on Mental Illness Western Βι¶ΉΣ³»­In addition to her work as a Project Coordinator, Ms. Saunders teaches undergraduate classes as a Letter of Appointment for the School of Public Health.
