Summary

Jane Fox, MPH, is the Director of the Larson Institute for Health Impact and Equity at the Βι¶ΉΣ³»­ School of Public Health. Ms. Fox has over 30 years of experience focusing on health services technical assistance, research and evaluation of community health programs in service to increasing access to quality care and support services for vulnerable populations. Her research includes coupling outcomes and implementation science approaches to identify patient, provider and systems factors impacting engagement and retention in primary care. Using these outcomes and implementation findings, she designs and implements meaningful timely technical assistance to systems, organizations and teams. From 2018 to 2024 she was employed by Abt Global as a Principal Associate co-leading the HRSA/AHRQ account team. Over her tenure, she worked across the company’s capabilities to lead, design and support delivery of solutions for the HRSA and AHRQ markets on new opportunity pursuits and projects. Under her leadership, the HRSA/AHRQ team won over $65 million in HRSA evaluation and technical assistance contracts. She led several HRSA HIV/AIDS Bureau-funded projects and was an advisor on additional contracts from the Maternal Child Health Bureau, the Office of Global Health, the Bureau of Primary Health Care and the Bureau of Health Workforce. Ms. Fox started her career as the Executive Director of the Βι¶ΉΣ³»­ AIDS Foundation managing both Ryan White and CDC HIV prevention fund programs. She then was recruited to the Βι¶ΉΣ³»­ Ryan White AIDS Drug Assistance Program. She has several years of experience conducting training and providing technical assistance to clinics and organizations while at the Southeast AIDS Training and Education Center at Emory University School of Medicine. After leaving Emory University, Ms. Fox was a researcher at Boston University School of Public Health where she served in a leadership role on several HRSA HIV Special Projects of National Significance funded multi-site evaluation and technical assistance centers focusing on a variety of intersection topics with HIV including oral health, homelessness, incarceration, employment, behavioral health, patient centered medical homes and systems and data linkage.
