Summary

Daryl’s teaching philosophy is rooted in a thorough understanding of the techniques used to practice in outdoor activities while managing risk and reward. He creates opportunities for individuals to develop leadership and communication skills through action and challenge.

He has lead expeditions throughout North America and has completed multiple Yosemite big-wall climbs including accents of both El Capitan and Half Dome. Daryl holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science and Outdoor Leadership and a Master’s of Education in Advanced Teaching and Leadership along with many certifications in his field.
