RENO, Nev. — The ΒιΆΉΣ³» and will hold the 11th College Day pep rally on Friday, April 21. During the event, University faculty and students will encourage students to get excited about going to college. All students will receive a “Future Wolf Pack Student” T-shirt provided by the University’s Division of Student Services, which they will wear during the assembly.
“We are so grateful to work with the ΒιΆΉΣ³». This event provides our students the motivation and inspiration to set goals to go to college,” Clayton Principal Michael Martindale said. “Through inspirational speeches from students, coaches and administrators, our students learn what it takes to prepare themselves for college as well as what opportunities are available locally.”
WHAT: The University will participate in a special pep-rally assembly for Clayton’s sixth through eighth-grade students to promote enthusiasm for future learning.
WHO: Clayton Principal Michael Martindale and Assistant Principal Leslie Shults will lead the student assembly. Other University guest speakers will include 2022-2023 Associated Students of the University of ΒιΆΉΣ³» President Dionne Stanfill and Vice President Jada Maglinao, Associate Vice President of Enrollment Services Melisa Choroszy, and ΒιΆΉΣ³» Women’s Basketball coaches and student-athletes. Cheerleaders and a Wolf Pack mascot will also be in attendance.

MEDIA AVAILABILITY: Media can take b-roll footage of the pep rally. A Clayton student as well as University and Clayton representatives will also be available for interviews during the event.
MEDIA PARKING: The event will be held in the school’s gymnasium. Media are encouraged to park in the school’s east parking lot off Wyoming Avenue. Overflow parking will be available at the across Kings Row. All guests are required to check in at the front office and are asked to enter through the main entrance of the school.
