Summary

My name is Janelle Bustarde-Endrina and I was born and raised in Reno, NV. I received my B.S. In Chemistry at the Βι¶ΉΣ³» in hopes of working in Forensics. While completing my undergraduate studies, I was able to join a research group and assisted in utilizing quantum-mechanical calculations to tackle problems in catalysis, materials science and heavy-elements chemistry. My interest in research peaked after graduation and I wanted to continue in this field. I was fortunate enough to start working at Desert Research Institute where a plethora of different research projects enthused me and encouraged me to receive my Master's in Hydrology. With my current background in chemistry, I hope to combine both fields and apply it to our growing water concerns. I thrive being outdoors, especially near water so becoming a hydrologist falls in line with what brings me joy. I also enjoy weightlifting, baking and traveling.
