Student actualization and engagement

Advising in the Honors College is formatted to assist students in the development of their honors experience plan, answer questions about requirements, and serve as a referral system to other campus resources. Our advising staff are on hand to help students identify personal, impactful, and meaningful honors experiences that both reflect college mission priorities and their own passions and interests.

Honors life-checks

Semester life-check appointments are a key component in your progress through the Honors College and are intended to be affirming, inspiring life-coaching sessions. You should participate in a life-check appointment each semester in order to ensure that you are meeting college requirements and to remain in good standing within the Honors College.

Honors record

The honors record is an advising tool that showcases outstanding examples of student work into an electronic portfolio. As students submit to the honors record, they will be able to track their progress in the Honors College and create an archive of materials that they can show future employers.
