Summary
I am from New Braunfels, Texas, and received my B.S. in Geographic Information Science and Technology from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. My passion for tropical peatlands came from a fieldwork trip in Costa Rica that was led by Dr. Julie Loisel. After that trip, I became very interested in studying tropical peatlands, where they are, and how they develop.
