Choosing a master's program is an important decision, which is why finding a program that is flexible and fits your interests in life is important. The counseling program within the College of Education & Human Development offers a master’s degree (M.A.) in Counseling with three possible majors:

  1. School Counseling
  2. Clinical Mental Health Counseling
  3. Marriage, Couple and Family Counseling

High-Impact Master's Counseling Program

The M.A. in Counseling is part of the Counselor Education program. We offer three specializations: Marriage, Couple and Family Counseling (MCFC); school counseling; and clinical mental health counseling (CMHC).

Accreditation Status

The Â鶹ӳ»­ School Counseling, Marriage, Couple and Family Counseling, Clinical Mental Health, and Ph.D. in Education: Counselor Education and Supervision programs are fully accredited by the Counsel for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP) through October 31, 2025.
