Getting started with Zoom in the classroom
Quick information
Use the audio/video settings below for your Zoom meeting:
Webcam: UNITE 20 Camera
Mic: Microphone (Chat 150) OR Same as System*
Speakers: Same as System
*If the classroom has a lavalier/lapel microphone, the option Same as System should be selected.
If the USB Chat mic is present on the podium, then Microphone (Chat 150) will be the option selected.
Starting your meeting
For best results we recommend scheduling your meetings ahead of time. You can use the Zoom tool in WebCampus to schedule your meetings and share the links with your students or you can use the Βι¶ΉΣ³» Zoom web portal: https://unr.zoom.us.
Note: You cannot use the generic Zoom website with your Βι¶ΉΣ³» account.
Step 1: Go to the .
Step 2: Click on the Sign In button (bottom option).
Step 3: After logging in to your account, you should be taken to your Meetings. If not, click on Meetings on the left side of the window.
Step 4: Click on the Start button associated with the meeting you want to start.
Don’t forget to click on Record and select Record to the Cloud to record your Zoom meeting.
