Graduating Student Ambassador

Students in our College who volunteer in their sophomore or junior years to become student ambassadors are trained to help new and prospective students personalize their experiences in our College. Ambassadors learn leadership and communications skills, and train in all of our academic programs to provide expertise about what our College has to offer. They conduct tours, visit high schools, help with events for parents and students, and serve on an advisory committee. They also recruit new students and mentor them. Once ambassadors earn their degrees, we honor them as graduating student ambassadors. Our College thanks them for their hard work, dedication and sacrifice, as they have made a difference for our College and our students.

Natalie Godinez is a first-generation college student from Las Vegas who graduated Cum Laude in December with a bachelor's degree in veterinary science. She was a TRiO Scholar and part of the University's Honors Program. Her favorite thing to do is share her love for all-things Â鶹ӳ» through participation in the College's Student Ambassadors Program, Â鶹ӳ» Bound, Honors Program recruitment and Â鶹ӳ»FIT. In her free time, Natalie volunteered at the Northern Â鶹ӳ» Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and also interned for Truckee Meadows Boys and Girls Club Volunteer Services. Her future plans are to attend veterinary school and become a small-animal veterinarian. Natalie is very grateful for the wonderful opportunities and people that the University has brought into her life and is excited for what is to come.
