The rising importance of international trade, finance and public policy has dramatically changed the way we do business. International Business focuses on the principles and practices of business that crosses national boundaries to operate successfully in the global business environment.
Programs & Partnerships
Our College vision is “to be a premier business school that produces research and graduates that enable economic vitality and inspire positive change in Â鶹ӳ» and the world.” As the College of Business, we have been investing heavily on international programs for quite some time. We currently have ten international partnerships with prestigious business schools, in China, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, and Turkey. We also have nine short-term study abroad programs in different locations around the world including Argentina, Australia, Canada, Costa Rica, England, Poland and Singapore.
Business gone global
Students, faculty and staff within The College of Business strive to not only network and create change within our Â鶹ӳ» community but also to make connections throughout the world. We've created a display of all the College’s international activities and connection through research, study abroad programs, formal college relationships and trade missions through the Â鶹ӳ» Governor’s Office of Economic Development.
Â鶹ӳ» Global Business and Economics Lab (NVGLOBE-L)
The Â鶹ӳ» Global Business and Economics Lab (NVGLOBE-L) is a policy-oriented lab, which focuses on applied research in business and economics. NVGLOBE-L brings together students and faculty from the Â鶹ӳ» and our international partner universities in joint research projects.
International Business degree
The international business major provides an interdisciplinary program of study which combines international and foreign language studies with a business degree. This degree is great for students seeking to work in the international business world, as the program focuses on the principles and practices of businesses that cross national boundaries to operate in the global business environment. Each participant has the opportunity to specialize in a particular region — Asia and the Pacific, Europe or the Americas.
