Research Scientist, Native Seed Processing and Storage Center Manager

Summary

I am a native plant ecologist and I manage the Βι¶ΉΣ³» Native Seed Processing and Storage Center, housed in the Leger Lab. Native seed cleaning and storage are often over-looked steps in the process of obtaining native plant material. We built this Center in an effort to increase the availability of locally adapted native seed to aid in restoration, as well as perform experiments to improve handling processes to maintain genetic diversity and seed longevity.
