Dr. Heggli holds a Ph.D. in Atmospheric Sciences from the Βι¶ΉΣ³», an M.S. in Water Resource Management from Fresno State University, and B.A. in International Relations and a B.A. in Spanish Language and Culture from San Francisco State University. Before earning her Ph.D. in 2023, Dr. Heggli accumulated over 10 years of international experience working to improve environmental monitoring with various operational agencies, including national hydrological and meteorological authorities, hydropower companies, and mining companies. In 2016, she founded Alpine Hydromet to pursue research and development in snow water equivalent monitoring and she spent five years as a consultant before earning her Ph.D., which has proven valuable in developing interdisciplinary and diverse research teams.
